i dreamt of the end of the world and it was wonderful
A downloadable game
A game made as part of classwork at DePaul exploring the logical affordances of design; the goal of the assignment was to mimic the non-logic present in a dream. Shifting scenes with no invisible boundaries, a cohesive but nonsensical narrative, recurring themes and distorted visuals and audio are used to this end.
None of the visual work used in this game is mine; all rights and credit to the original owners. I used cut-up and repasted magazine bits for everything. The audio was made in collaboration with Peter McDonald and other students at DePaul.
MOVE: arrow keys
SPACE: Interact/parse text
ENTER: make decision
BUG: After choosing a sin, please do not press space for a little (3-5 seconds). For some reason the game crashes there if you do and I don't like GMS2 enough to pay for the license and be able to fix it.
